WEST COAST SWING!
West Coast Swing is a slow to medium tempo Blues based swing form that started it's development in the late 1940's in California. It is an off shoot of the traditional " Dean Collins" Hollywood Lindy Swing movement. The dance has continued to grow and develop to now incorporate traditional Lindy Swing concepts mixed with those of Jazz and Latin movements. The music of West Coast Swing can include the flavors of Blues, Jazz, R&B, Soul and Pop. You really need to check this swing out. It rocks!
